I have a stiff little 20 year old cat. She does not like objects coming at her so she very rarely plays but she loves the red dot and I've never seen her move so fast. I'm happy to find something to get her moving. Also a very good play tool for lazy humans.

When we first turned it on it caught her attention immediately and we’ve tried it several times since and it still holds her attention. She has learned that the ‘magic’ light comes from the cat paw wand so gets excited whenever it is touched. The toy itself is really quite comfortable to hold for a good long play session and the laser travels quite a distance.

Having greatly disappointed our cat when I picked up our older, cheaper pointer to play with and it broke, I was looking for a cheap and quick replacement. This has far exceeded my expectations, and the cat loves it! The different pictures are a nice added bonus to amuse me, if not the cats as well, and the laser quality is good enough to play with the cat, so good enough for me.
